Day 3 - James Bond Day in Delft

2nd day of work, actually did work all day!! woke up a bit late - its still quite dark at 7:30AM so its hard for me to wake up naturally. dany and i made it work without getting lost, hit some traffic at the tunnel but otherwise ok!

finished my report at work. was cold in the office so put on my jacket. my co-worker maarten came into my office and turned up my thermostat. when robin got back he immediately opened the window. i blamed maarten. :)

lunch was better today, had a great sandwhich with some soup. my coworker Flip had a sandwich that consisted of two pieces of wheat bread, butter, and chocholate sprinkles (like the ones you put on ice cream). lunch continues to be interesting and fun.

afternoon i struggled with some pile calculations. the design standard they use is completly different and the analysis method is very different. finally figured it out. will continue to work on that tomorrow with annemeik.

robin asked if i wanted to do a 15K next weekend. i asked if there was a shorter distance available. :) i'll follow up on that.

dany shonna and I went to see Quantum of Solace and it was awesome!! all the young people were all dresesed up likeeither james bond or vikings and all the girls were dressed up like bond girls. some guys tried to explain why they were dressed up like vikings but were too wasted to make any send. the theatre gave away free soda after the movie which was awesome! the theatre had about 100 steps to get up to it, and the seating was assigned. the movie even had an intermission! it was cool. the movie was awesome and seeing everyone dressed up was so cool.

tomorrow i go to the gym after work and get a sim card. i'm also going on a field trip for work to see a dewatering operation that was designed by our hydroligists. dany and i are going shopping in downtown delft tomorrow then heading to asterdam for the weekend :)
